T.H. March

The business was formed in 1887 by Thomas H March, a bookkeeper for his father, who was a diamond dealer in Hatton Garden. He clearly found providing an insurance service for his friends in the Jewellery trade more to his liking than selling jewellery itself, and the business quickly established itself as the leading specialist in such insurance.

They became the appointed brokers to the main jewellery trade associations: The National Association of Goldsmiths in 1906, and what is now the British Jewellers Association (part of the British Jewellery and Giftware Federation) in 1968, appointments they still hold today. During 2002 they were appointed as broker to The GA which supports the UK gift and home industry, and The British Luggage and Leather goods Association
